Key Objectives
Deadly Ponies, a leading fashion brand based in New Zealand, wanted to upgrade their eCommerce site by refining the account page, reworking the mega menu, and finishing the Click & Collect feature. We assisted them in doing so through Shopify Plus development and customization, providing an easy-to-use experience.
Core Challenges
Inadequate Mega Menu
The previous mega menu was constructed from a default Shopify theme but had hard-coded conditions to the point of being challenging to update designs. Integrating the menu in a way that could accommodate future customizations without the loss of functionality was the core challenge.
Absence of Click & Collect Feature
The Click & Collect functionality was also partly developed by the former developers, without key functionality. It was missing the seamless integration and increasing the problem for customer experience.
Code Complexity Affecting Estimations
The excessive amount of custom code present within the theme did not enable us to provide an accurate estimate of effort. Because of this, we carefully examined the code and re-estimated it with greater transparency and accuracy.
